For those who are dedicated & advanced players, our Competition Team will push you to compete at the highest level with the top players in the country.

Upcoming Assessments:
To register for the assessment, please send an email to coach@seattlebadminton.com and indicate that you are interested in joining the Competition Team. Please do not show without securing a confirmation email!
To complete your child’s assessment registration, please review the provided videos and give your child an estimated total score using the scoring rubric below. Submit this score before your scheduled assessment!
Important: Registrations without an estimated score will be canceled.
- If your child’s estimated score is below 18, please register directly for Bronze or Middle/High School instead of signing up for an assessment.
- The final score will be determined by the Assessment Coach during the assessment.

Class Description
- Team Eligibility Information & Requirements
- Most advanced level for highly skilled and competitive junior players, ages 8-18
- Combines intense physical conditioning, nuanced technique, and advanced strategy
- Saturday Competitive Ladder – 4:00pm to 6:00pm
- The Competitive Ladder provides players with opportunities to gain match experience, develop competitive awareness, and strengthen independent problem-solving skills
Make-Up Class Policy
To attend a make-up class for a missed class, students must send an email to competitionteam@seattlebadminton.com at least 24 hours in advance to notify SBC of the absence. Please include in the email the date of the upcoming absence and the date of the make-up class you would like to attend.
Each request needs to be approved by SBC prior to attending the make-up class. This make-up policy applies to all classes.
Make-up classes are not guaranteed and are subject to availability. Make-up classes must be completed in the same session and do not carry over to the next session.
No refund or class credit will be issued for missed classes.
We kindly ask students to please notify SBC as early as possible if they will not be in attendance for a particular class. This allows us ample time to contact other students on the waitlist for the available class space.
In the event of a class canceled by SBC, we will arrange a make-up class in the same session.
Session Cancellation Policy
Full refund if canceled fourteen (14) days before the start of the session.
No refund after the session has begun.
An administration fee of $40 will be applied to all cancellations.
