Sean Wang
Sean is from from Kaohsiung, Taiwan. He started playing badminton at the age of 10, joining his school team and continuing through junior high. Although he had to take a break from the sport during high school due to academic priorities, his passion for badminton never faded. In college, Sean picked up the racket again and joined the university team.
During his college years, Sean also gained coaching experience by serving as an assistant coach at an elementary school. This opportunity not only allowed him to help young players develop their skills but also refined his teaching abilities.
After graduating, Sean became a substitute teacher and badminton coach at elementary and junior high schools. His goal is to share his knowledge and experience with the next generation of players. To enhance his coaching skills, Sean obtained both C-level and B-level coaching certifications from the Chinese Taipei Badminton Association.
“Coaching is a challenging yet rewarding profession. It requires dedication and effort to provide personalized guidance and support to each student. However, seeing my students improve and thrive on the court is incredibly fulfilling, making all the hard work worthwhile. This sense of accomplishment fuels my passion for coaching.”
