No assessment required.<\/p><ul><li><span style=\"font-style: inherit; text-align: var(--text-align);\">Proper racket grip and serve<\/span><\/li><li><span style=\"font-style: inherit; text-align: var(--text-align);\">Stroke technique and form for both underhand and overhead shots<\/span><\/li><li>Basic shots: serve, lift, net, clear, drop, drive<\/li><li>Basic footwork patterns and movement<\/li><\/ul><h4>Adult II (Intermediate) Class<\/h4><p>For players that can execute basic shots but are looking to improve shot consistency, fitness, and movement.\u00a0<\/p><p>* New students must take an assessment to qualify for Adult II (Intermediate) placement.<\/p><ul><li>Improve form, consistency, speed, and power across your shots<\/li><li>Expand footwork and increase speed for full court coverage<\/li><li>More advanced shots: smash, crosscourt shots, backhand overhead, etc.<\/li><li>Drills and multifeeding to combine shot technique and footwork<\/li><\/ul><h4>Adult III (Advanced) Class<\/h4><p>For players that play competitively and are looking to further sharpen their technique, physicality, and tactics.<\/p><p>* New students must take an assessment to qualify for Adult III (Advanced) placement.<\/p><ul><li>Refine technique, speed, and power across all your shots<\/li><li>Improve physicality and speed for more intense matches<\/li><li>Advanced drills and multifeeding patterns to strengthen your game<\/li><li>Advanced game strategies for singles, doubles, and mixed players<\/li><\/ul>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-a6867e5 elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"a6867e5\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<h2><span style=\"text-align: var(--text-align);\">Make-Up Class Policy<\/span><\/h2><p>To attend a make-up class for a missed class, students must send an email to <a href=\"mailto:coach@seattlebadminton.com\">coach@seattlebadminton.com<\/a> at least 24 hours in advance to notify SBC of the absence.\u00a0 Please include in the email the date of the upcoming absence and the date of the make-up class you would like to attend.\u00a0<\/p><p>Each request needs to be approved by SBC prior to attending the make-up class. This make-up policy applies to all Adult classes.<\/p><p>Make-up classes are not guaranteed and are subject to availability.\u00a0 Make-up classes must be completed in the same session and do not carry over to the next session.<\/p><p>No refund or class credit will be issued for missed classes.<\/p><p>We kindly ask students to please notify SBC as early as possible if they will not be in attendance for a particular class.
