For those who are advanced players, our Competition Team will push you to compete at the highest level with the top players in the country. var(--text-align);\">Class Advancements<\/span><\/h2><p>Students are eligible for advancement to the next level of class at the sole discretion of the coaches. Throughout the session, our coaches closely monitor the class to see if any students have shown proficient improvement and exemplary student attitude to move up to the next level. To advance, students are expected to be able to fulfill all of the class&#8217;s criteria listed in the <a href=\"https:\/\/docs.google.com\/document\/d\/1vxi3NhvmBzJCoV8RD3df_KCYSCBpH8MDL__Ko51tkqY\/edit?usp=sharing\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><strong>Assessment Scoring Rubric<\/strong><\/span><\/a>.<\/p><p>In the last few weeks of a session, the coaches will determine if any students are ready to move up to the next class. The student or their parents will be contacted if they are advanced. In most cases, an assessment is not required for students unless they are new.<\/p><p>For any inquiries about a student&#8217;s advancement, please email <a href=\"mailto:coach@seattlebadminton.com\">coach@seattlebadminton.com<\/a>. For any inquirues regarding Competition Team, please email <a href=\"mailto:competitionteam@seattlebadminton.com\">competitionteam@seattlebadminton.com<\/a><\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-67138ea elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"67138ea\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<h2><span style=\"text-align: var(--text-align);\">Make-Up Class Policy<\/span><\/h2><p>To attend a make-up class for a missed class, students must send an email to <a href=\"mailto:coach@seattlebadminton.com\">coach@seattlebadminton.com<\/a>\u00a0 [or\u00a0<a href=\"mailto:competitionteam@seattlebadminton.com\">competitionteam@seattlebadminton.com<\/a> if your child is in our competitive program] at least 24 hours in advance to notify SBC of the absence.\u00a0 Please include in the email the date of the upcoming absence and the date of the make-up class you would like to attend.<\/p><p>Each request needs to be approved by SBC prior to attending the make-up class. This make-up policy applies to all classes.<\/p><p><strong>Make-up classes <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">are not guaranteed<\/span> and are subject to availability.\u00a0 Make-up classes must be completed in the same session and do not carry over to the next session.<\/strong><\/p><p><strong>No refund or class credit will be issued for missed classes.<\/strong><\/p><p>*We kindly ask students to please notify SBC as early as possible if they will not be in attendance for a particular class.
