Our journey began with a shared vision among our ten founders. They were badminton enthusiasts who believed in creating a space where badminton could be enjoyed both competitively and recreationally. Founded in Kirkland, WA in 2010, SBC has become a vibrant hub for badminton lovers of all ages and skill levels.
What started as a small gathering of friends has evolved into an expansive, diverse, and dedicated community. We’ve become a primary host for tournaments in the Seattle area, celebrated national champions from our junior program, and grown our membership base tremendously. Above all, we pride ourselves on our reputation for fostering sportsmanship and community.
