Membership
Members have the best access to the SBC courts!
Members can play anytime, and for however long they like, during club hours. These are the current member hours:
Monday – Friday
9:00am – 11:00pm
On Tuesdays only starting at 8pm, all courts are reserved for Fixed-Partner Ladder
Saturday
7:00am – 10:00pm
- On Saturdays from 4 – 6pm, all courts are reserved for Junior Ladder
Sunday
7:00am – 6:00pm
- On Sundays starting at 4pm, all courts are reserved for Singles Ladder
Why become a member? Benefits include, but are not limited to:
Free play every day during the club’s members-only court hours
Join a passionate community of badminton players and meet new friends to play with
Access to member-only programs such as ladders and organized play
Higher priority when registering for both group and private lessons
Discounted rate for both group and private lessons
Discounted rate for stringing service and pro shop items
How do I become a member?
You must sign up for membership IN PERSON at the front desk
Please review the Membership Agreement Form ahead of time
Come prepared with a method of payment

Membership Fees
Monthly plan
- First charge = initiation fee + pro-rated fee of the current month + payment for the next 3 full months
Semi-annual plan
- First charge = initiation fee + pro-rated fee of the current month + payment for the next 6 full months
Annual plan
- No initiation fee
- First charge = pro-rated fee of the current month + payment for the next 12 full months
Membership fees are non-refundable and non-transferable.
Membership fees in the table above do not include tax.
The initiation fee is a one-time, non-taxable, and non-refundable fee.
If a membership card is lost, a replacement will need to be purchased for $5.00
A 25% discount on the initiation fee may be provided for the following:
- Individuals referred by a currently active SBC member
- Individuals who work for a major corporation (Microsoft, Amazon, Boeing, etc.), with proof of employment
Membership Suspension and Termination
All suspension and termination requests must be made on or before the 20th of the month before your next month’s payment. Requests can be made at the front desk in person by signing a termination form or emailed to info@seattlebadminton.com.
Per our Membership Agreement Form Policy: The Member acknowledges that unless notice of termination is given by either the Member or the Club in the manner provided herein in Section 2.4, the membership is automatically renewed on a month-to-month basis at the end of the initial term of this agreement and at the end of each subsequent renewed term, and the Member is responsible for the membership dues for the renewal period(s).
